Wrapping Up Hinterface: A Journey of Learning and Growth

Hi everyone

I'm writing to announce that I'll be wrapping up Hinterface after working on it for 5 months. For those who aren't familiar, it was a Chrome extension for customizing webpage elements using natural language, powered by Claude and ChatGPT. This was a personal learning project I created to deepen my understanding of AI integration and browser extension development.

The Journey

As I worked on this project, I explored many technical challenges and learned about the evolving generative AI landscape. The generative UI space has grown rapidly, with companies like Vercel's v0.dev making significant advancements. As this was primarily a learning endeavor, I've decided to conclude this phase of the project.

Learning Experience

Building Hinterface has been an incredible learning experience in developing AI-powered products and exploring the practical applications of generative AI. This project significantly improved my skills in JavaScript, React, browser extension architecture, and AI integrations.
